A quick question, Dan, do you know of any Chinese or Eastern Asian recipes that use the pilaf/pilau method of cooking the rice, e.g., sauteing the rice in butter or oil before steaming it, most often in broth? I'm sure the Uighurs and other Central Asian minorities of Western China use this method, but I've never seen a recipe where ethnic Chinese do this. I love your channel. I learn so much from you.
