Marinate the sardines overnight in lemon or lime juice, thinly sliced onions, (lemon zest & capers opt), & salt in fridge. I smash it & eat like a spread on toast or pork rinds.
this has become my breakfast go to, I topped with sardines in a tomato sauce (only recently able to extend out to tomato) with a melted slice of cheese. mmmmmmm
