    Mrs. Kathy Otterson,

I just tried this soup recipe. Love it! It has a very pleasant taste.

I did alter it slightly. I used a Sweet Onion and garlic with a little vegetable oil, nixed the lemongrass. I forgot the apricots but used some pears. And some seasoned salt.

    Very yummy! 🤤

We absolutely LOOOOOVE our Instant Pot.>>>ur2.pl/1046 We got it on Prime day and have used it every day since. Like most people, we fell into a rut of making the same meals over and over. The Instant Pot has opened up a whole new world for us. We are still discovering new recipes and having a lot of fun. If you are considering one of these, don't hesitate. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Kathy, this looks delicious!! I love all of these root veggies, but wouldn't have thought to combine them in a soup. I am going to try this soon 🙂 I grow lemon grass in a big pot on my patio, it's so full of flavor and I love the fragrance. I never would have thought to add the radishes and apricots….fun combination and so healthy ♥ Thank you!!

Very clever preparing kryptonite for Rick. But I think if you put a bottle of sweet baby Ray's in there he'd be less suspicious. I'm glad he has ten servings. I think I'll have a pepperoni pizza. Or two.

I'm going to try this soup! It looks so yummy! I also had the question of cooking time, but I read your reply to John that you cooked it for 15 minutes and did a quick release. I haven't had rutabaga since I was a child and actually forgot about them. So here goes….:) Thank you!

I'm a complainer by nature, so I'm gonna complain even though it's you eating the soup and not me. With apologies to Meryl Streep, my heart is hurt. Hurt because you did not use the GREATEST root vegetable that God ever invented — the magnificent onion.

I love your videos, Kathy. I always learn something! I'm really interested in trying rutabegas now. I hope I can find some! Lemongrass, too. The soup looks great, and so nutritious!

If you've never tried them, make yourself some butter radishes. (There's a good Youtube channel called Cavalcade of Food that has a recipe.) They're delicious!

I'd like to taste your soup. Not sure if I would like it or not but I'm sure it would be good for me. Hubby would love it! We both enjoyed the video. How did Rick like the soup?
