Hi Catherine from another Catharine 🇨🇦😊. Thank goodness you’re not using Cool Whip! Gross stuff! Another float that is fantastic is Orange Crush pop with vanilla ice cream. Really foams up in the glass when you put the ice cream into the glass with a small amount of the pop in it. Once you have as many scoops of ice cream in as you want, then I recommend holding the glass over the sink while very slowly pour in the pop. It is sooooooo refreshing! I’m going to try this pie with A&W Root Beer, then I’ll ty one with with Orange Crush. YUM!! Thank you for hoping this recipe. 😊😊. Cathy

Dear Catherine; How did that root beer float pie actually taste? I would like to try some of that to find out what it actually tastes like. In fact, it's got me craving a root beer float right now. Yours truly, Margaret Garnto.
