Hi Catherine from another Catharine 🇨🇦😊. Thank goodness you’re not using Cool Whip! Gross stuff! Another float that is fantastic is Orange Crush pop with vanilla ice cream. Really foams up in the glass when you put the ice cream into the glass with a small amount of the pop in it. Once you have as many scoops of ice cream in as you want, then I recommend holding the glass over the sink while very slowly pour in the pop. It is sooooooo refreshing! I’m going to try this pie with A&W Root Beer, then I’ll ty one with with Orange Crush. YUM!! Thank you for hoping this recipe. 😊😊. Cathy

You can make this with any soda. They are all great. Chocolate pudding and cherry coke. Give it a try
Root beer koolaide isn't available in Kansas City. I haven't seen it in decades.
Walmart carries root beer instant pudding, not under Jello but under the brand Sonic. There are other flavors too.
