Thank you for posting this video! With the Air Fryer insert, can you do two layers of food, and if so, how do you lift out the tray (you called it a broiler tray) to turn the food on the bottom? I am having a lot of trouble with that!!

Thank you for demonstrating this! This is my first instant pot and when I saw the air frying addition, it only made sense to get this model for space saving. The instructions that came with it are pretty vague- probably assuming people have already had an instant pot before. I was wondering if I needed to put liquid in under the frying rack or not- so thanks for showing how to air fry! I’ve made a couple of things pressure cooking and wondered what the “L” meant at the end.
Very nice demonstration and I’ll definitely try the Mac & cheese you just demonstrated!

Did yours last after 4 uses? My first Duo Crisp stopped recognizing the air fryer lid after 4 uses. My warranty replacement worked twice and now is doing the same thing. It seems very poorly made if I received 2 having the same problem.

The thing about the Mealthy Crisplid is that you don’t have to buy another instant pot if you already have one. Also you don’t plug your instant pot in while using the crisplid on it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I literally just received mine for Christmas (late). Started watching videos for the Instant Pot and realized, hey, mine is different. Turns out way better, but still extremely intimidated by it. I had never used a regular Instant Pot before. But after watching your video I feel pretty confident. I'm ready to give it a go. Gonna check out your other videos as well. Love your accent btw…you sound like me. I'm originally from Jersey/NY. Thanks again!

I agree…… I'd think they would have used the same screen as my Ultra! Well, since I'm writing this AFTER Instant Pot released the STAND ALONE CRISPING LID, I will use the combination of my Ultra and the new crisping lid and have pretty much what I wanted 🙂 Always liked the idea of the foodi w/air fryer lid, but just couldn't deal with the bulky size of the thing in my smaller kitchen, and now I don't have to feel 'left out'. Yay!
