I'm vegan & I love Queso also! Coconut milk makes things creamy. We make our queso with nuts, usally almonds but like cashews best. We shy away from cashews because the can be poisonous. Even raw cashews are really steamed to kill fungus.

I eat the one from TJs regularly and I just tried the Good foods queso.  I really like the TJs one, but oddly enough my opinion is opposite to you guys. I like it cold, but don't care for it hot (I agree that its great with chips or crackers though). I buy the vegan frozen burritos from TJs and have put their fiesta dip on it and it was really good so it doesn't have to be straight from the fridge–room temp is fine, but when I actually heated it in the microwave I didn't like it. The Good foods Queso is a tasty sauce and I do like how creamy it is. However, I don't find it reminiscent enough of cheese, so it looses points with me there. I think it because it was too heavy on the red bell peppers (2nd ingredient). the TJs one has a more subtle pepper flavor and reminded me more of nacho cheese sauce. The Good Foods Queso is also pricier than the TJ's Fiesta dip. I live on the west coast, so that third one you tasted, from Fred and Ricky's,  I don't have access to. So for me the TJ's queso is the winner. And that's my take. Thank you for the video. I never would have known to look for the Good Foods Queso without it.

Sorry in advance for the long comment, but I just found you guys today and wanted to say a few things. First off, thank you for this video because I LOVE queso lol. Second, my husband and I have just recently found out that we're both gluten and dairy intolerant. We have completely changed the way we eat and together, we have lost just shy of 200 pounds. I've lost 90 and he has lost 100. My husband is at his goal weight, but I'm only halfway to my goal so far. I got up to 346 pounds after my surgery for a rare auto-immune disease completely overtook my life. Because of my health and my weight, I couldn't work and I could barely take care of myself. I have been overweight my ENTIRE life (and I was bullied in school and at home about it) and I am finally, at 32 years old, finally starting to feel confident and beautiful in my own skin. My mental health has improved miles too. I no longer take my bipolar medication. I still have depression sometimes, but not even near where it was. It's been a scary, but powerful and life changing journey. It's so amazing to see another couple that has transformed through healthy eating. While we aren't completely vegan, 90% of our diet is plant based. You guys are inspiring and I am so glad I just found you channel. 🙂 There are more of us than you may even realize, so keep it up!!
