As a western colorado born whose neighbors are ranchers with salt crusted cowboy hats…..rocky mountain oysters used to be consumed in slim times. Now the ranchers just throw them in a bucket after castrating the steers to sell to the local tourist town local restaurants and we watch tourists "live in ol west times" and we laugh. Testicle are awful and chewy, when we have plentiful beef, we don't have any idea why people voluntarily eat the oysters.
I hope that wasnt real sasprilla root that they used because its highly carcinogenic! Thats why they took it and sassafras out of rootbeer decades ago!
You city folk have no idea how these are collected and if you did you would freak the F out. Alive no pain meds just cut the bottom sack off and rip them testes out and lamb fries you take out with your teeth, too small and slimy to grab with your hands. As a kid in the 70's both parents got TB and we all had to be quarantined in the asylum separated from each other. To this day I test positive to the TB test but never caught it.
Tuberculosis is VERY contagious but if you have a good immune system your body can fight it off. Also TB bacteria has a thick waxy coating that is difficult for your white blood cells to penetrate so your immune system will encase the TB in something called a tubercle which separated the infection from the larger body. The downside of this is after you've been infected you may not show any symptoms for years or ever, unless your immune system breaks down due to other illness or malnutrition. Then you'll get infected from an exposure you got ages ago. It's like a little time capsule of death!
I kept expecting Cowboy Kent Rollins to pop up and teach them about real chuck wagon cooking!
The unified ugghgh is so cute 😂
South Dakotan here! Awesome to see us on Mythical Kitchen!
I don't have the balls to eat testicles.
I’m in love with Emily!
HelloFresh is a joke, you can save much more money being a smart spender at the grocery store and make your own meals.
Why did Josh turn into “Wedding Singer”-era Adam Sandler at 25:18? 😂
Turnips are potatoes made for people who like to lick batteries.

Boiled turnips are actually really good, its almost like a bigger raddish. You can eat the whole plant.
cowboy coffee is supposed to be thicker than that lol
I'm not ashamed to admit I clicked for 2 reasons:
1) Biscuits
2) Cowgirl Emily
Lol
Wait, what happened at her funeral? Dang it, Josh!
Emily's nails are always impressive!
This episode made me realize, Mythical Kitchen needs to collab with Cowboy Kent.
"save a horse, ride a cowboy"
words to live by 🙏🤠
The bull testicles look surprisingly palatable like raw once you cut them it looks kind of like thin chicken breast
Emily! as a fellow former forensics kid from TN, I always enjoy hearing you talk about it!
Emily needs her own show!!

I'd love to see a video where one or more of the Mythical Chefs writes out a complicated recipe, and forces Emily to try making it.
