Oh yes…so making this! I have frozen cabbage heads in the deep freezer as well. Thanks as always for the inspiration. I am Hungarian and depending on which region you come from we add sauerkraut too. Oh…and garlic, maybe dill. Love you guys and happy to see another couple who kitchen dance together.

Ok, so after watching many of your videos, I ordered an Instant Pot and some soy curls. I got everything here now, and I realize, I'm kind of overwhelmed, don't know where to start…. Could you please recommend a "first recipe" that I should try?!

my Jewish/eastern European mother and Grandmother made this dish the long cook way with 2 cans of tomato soup and water to thin it. My mom always cooked the rolls on top of a heat safe plate that was put into the bottom of the cooker. That was how she prevented the rolls from burning on the bottom. The liquid had to cover the rolls. Thanx for your efforts. This looks good !

My mother used to lay sauerkraut in the bottom of the pan, then lay the cabbage rolls on top, then top with a large can of whole tomatoes. Sometimes the other way around – tomatoes, cabbage rolls, sauerkraut.
