What kind of margarine do you use? My pressure cooker has a line inside so that you don't over fill your cooker. I overfilled mine once and boy did I have a mess when I took off the cover….food everywhere…lol.

The wife and I just made this but added an onion chopped, 2 tsps of chopped garlic, 2 cups of chicken broth instead of water and 8 oz of mushrooms with some Greek Seasoning then sprinkled some cheddar cheese on top after ladled into a bowl and damn is this good! Thanks Debbie!

I knew that was not going to fit, we do it in the giant 17" cast iron or roasting pan in the oven, and still piled high to start, unless doing it in stages, maybe pre cooking or frying separately the potatoes and cabbage. Add fried onion and bacon or kielbasa. Need to try with the tomatoes, green peppers.

Hi Deb, I just have to laugh because when you said "DONT DO WHAT I DID AND PUT TOO MUCH" Well i did just that. I bought the 10 quart and over did it with the potatoes and sausage. LoL. I did try cooking the cabbage down some so i could get my lid on easily. I have to say, if any one has any concerns about the time on this, 10 minutes is perfect. I got lucky when i did my quick release though. No mess to clean up after, thank god. It was super yummy. Thanks for the awesome video. Keep up the great work Deb.

This is one of my favorite meals also.  I also like a meal with country style ribs, potatoes, and a can of sauerkraut poured into an aluminum foil packet to keep the sauerkraut juice separate.

See Debbie…this is what I love about your vids. They are real, not cut to heck. I love that you leave little mishaps in. We learn together on your channel. Looks great by the way, I haven't cooked cabbage in a while, need to get me a head or two. Be well.

Hey Deb, you made this one other time only without using the pressure cooker. You need a 10 quart one as you're like me, you always make too much. lol Anywho, after seeing you make it the first time I tried it but I added pork flavored broth base and seasoning to mine, it was totally AWESOME! I found this new brand of bullion at Food Lion several months ago, it's great, I've got my sister using it too, she loves it. It's called Orrington Farms Broth Base & Seasoning, it comes in beef, pork, chicken, and veggie flavors. One container makes 56 cups of broth and it's made with 100% natural ingredients, the stuff adds awesome flavor to anything that you use it in and I especially love the pork for cooking most any kind of vegetable in. I hope you'll give it a try and let me know what you think. =)
I'm gonna get me an electric pressure cooker as soon I get straightened out but I am most definitely getting a ten quart one. 😉
