I was a bit apprehensive as this is my first time using anything like this but getting started was pretty simple. It is important to follow instructions and "season" the seal. This would be a great gift for busy moms or really anyone who needs great food, super fast. I got this during prime day but will look for another deal around the holidays.

    When canning you have to be very careful that the jars and water are the same temp or as close as you can. So if you put cold/room temp food and liquid then the canner and water inside need to be room temp. Same for hot food and a very warm canner, not boiling. Sudden temp change can cause jars to break at the bottom like that. Not saying that you did it wrong but that is what came to mind when you mentioned your jars breaking
