Ok, so I just made this and it is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Thanks so much for the recipe.
Made this last night for a Sunday night family dinner and it was absolutely delicious! The only change I made was leaks instead of onion , plus added a can of drained kidney beans, and cooked in the instant pot. It was so yummy, even meat eaters were very impressed and satisfied. Thank you Brian & Jessica! for giving us a new favorite to add to our family meals recipe book.
Daaamn! I made this and really enjoyed it! We usually avoid soups with bits in it but I saw this and said, “I need soup. I’m bored with the usual suspects. What the hell! Let’s do this!” I’m glad I did! Thank you, Brian! This is absolutely delicious and super easy to throw together. Your recipe is making a home in my “Tried and True” soups folder. 👍
Hey Brian Tried your soup and love it…….Thanks much apprecieated
That looks really delicious! thanks for the video.
Oooo, looks so good!
Good morning from Long Island. I made the potato-veggie soup and it’s outstanding – taste just like my Mom’s. Yum 😋 Thank you 😊
how long does that big bowl take to microwave when you reheat it?
I made the soup in my Instant Pot. OMG!!! We can’t stop eating it!!! Thank you for this recipe!♥️
always looking for a great soup recipe, thanks for the post!!
This soup looks amazing, but I'm wondering…….what is cooking in the oven behind you while you are filming?
Come on spring time. I would like to see you kids a farmers market buying your vegetables. This looks delicious and most of the ingredients are spices within themselves. Good job to the sous chef
Looks delicious, guys!
Served your soup to company last night. 👍
Yum! Wondering how to do this in the Instant Pot? 8 minutes? 10 Minutes?
This soup is very good! I did add some red pepper flakes and had some kale I needed to use up so added that too. My new favorite soup!
That is pretty groovy music there!
Cape May, New Jersey! Alright!
Love the sweatshirt. Cape May is our my wife's favorite place on earth. 🙂
Your vegetables (celery, carrots, and onion) along with tomato puree is a traditional French base called pincage. The classics never go out of style.
You inspired me to get some veges out of the frig and follow your guide to create a vegetable soup, it turned out great! I used small red potatoes with the skin on and substituted corn for green beans. Thanks and keep the recipes coming!
Some red beans in it would be good
Been watching you guys for a bit never left a comment. You guys have inspired me to start the carnivore diet and I've been on it for about three weeks. I felt absolutely amazing.
I made this soup today right after watching your video. It is delicious and satisfying.
Hey, love you guys. I’m so proud of you and your Adventure. I’ve been plant based for a few years and love your channel. My husband and I made this soup today and added in a few extra things. Actually, for us this would be called the “clean out the fridge soup”. We added in cauliflower, fennel, kale, garbanzo beans (sorry Mary M), and some beautiful giant red scallions along with your ingredients. We also cheated by using tiny potatoes which were small enough to use whole. I made my husband prep all the veggies as he’s a professional chef. He’s even faster than the chopper. When we served the soup we added some Cholula (hot sauce), because we like our food to bite us back. Because we added all those extra veggies we almost ran out of room in the pot. I must say I’ve never been a fan of vegetable soup, but this has completely changed my opinion. Thanks for the inspiration on all levels.
Are you on MeWe? That is where I will share it. "Plant Based" group. Mewe is pretty cool. Not as popular as Facebook, but the setup is very similar. MeWe doesn't do privacy violations like FB does, though.
I haven't done M's mini, yet. I keep intending to. Having a soup to have as a different "texture" would be a nice addition. I will try a version of this. Thank you! (I won't add the lemon juice or some of the spices). I eat very bland food….and enjoy it!
Amazing gotta try this
Now I want soup. I will make this for dinner tomorrow. Thanks 🙂
Brian, do you have a brother named Joshua? I work with a vendor who looks exactly like you sounds exactly like you and uses the same phrases that you do it is unbelievable🤣
You guys are totally fun and fabulous, thank you for everything.

I never eat fresh cooked soup, I leave it until the next day when all the flavours have developed, it tastes amazing then 🌹
Brian..you are such a creative cook…looks yum
Great video! Is the music clip at the end Brian's band?
Please show exactly how you made the peppers (For us who can't quite figure it out) also do you think the method would work with other veggies. It is the amount of salt in most recipes that prevents me from making them. Thanks
You could use apple cider vinegar instead of the lemon. Great recipe.
Sooooo for the 10 day ‘potato diet’ I think you guys mainly ate potatoes for each meal as your starch. Couple questions…are the peas not a starch? Could u eat this soup for the 10 days most meals or is there something about the ‘one food’ per meal that helps reset your body and thinking? Also I believe I hav watched all videos but what did you hav for breakfasts? Shredded potatoes? Coffee? And if u normally do not eat breakfasts is it wise to try to eat your starch? Thank you so much for videos great work you guys!!!
I make a very similar veggie soup, sometimes with a bag of frozen peas, carrots and green beans when I need a fast soup. Sometimes I add chopped green cabbage. Mmmm.
That looks delicious! Brian, I can see you have a dedicated sous chef…you two are a great team! Best wishes.
It must be so nice to have a partner who is on this journey with you, it is so hard to eat this way when someone else is cooking up steak and potatoes in the same kitchen.
Yum
Oh man, that looks really good and hearty.
I'd give this recipe a "Krock-a-doodle-do"!!!
If it was super spicy it would be "Krock-a-toa" (easy on the Java)!
That looks really good! Adding some chopped kale to the soup would be tasty too.
This looks so good!! Thanks for posting. 😊
