Made this last night for a Sunday night family dinner and it was absolutely delicious! The only change I made was leaks instead of onion , plus added a can of drained kidney beans, and cooked in the instant pot. It was so yummy, even meat eaters were very impressed and satisfied. Thank you Brian & Jessica! for giving us a new favorite to add to our family meals recipe book.

Daaamn! I made this and really enjoyed it! We usually avoid soups with bits in it but I saw this and said, “I need soup. I’m bored with the usual suspects. What the hell! Let’s do this!” I’m glad I did! Thank you, Brian! This is absolutely delicious and super easy to throw together. Your recipe is making a home in my “Tried and True” soups folder. 👍

Come on spring time. I would like to see you kids a farmers market buying your vegetables. This looks delicious and most of the ingredients are spices within themselves. Good job to the sous chef

Love the sweatshirt. Cape May is our my wife's favorite place on earth. 🙂

Your vegetables (celery, carrots, and onion) along with tomato puree is a traditional French base called pincage. The classics never go out of style.

You inspired me to get some veges out of the frig and follow your guide to create a vegetable soup, it turned out great! I used small red potatoes with the skin on and substituted corn for green beans. Thanks and keep the recipes coming!

Been watching you guys for a bit never left a comment. You guys have inspired me to start the carnivore diet and I've been on it for about three weeks. I felt absolutely amazing.

Hey, love you guys. I’m so proud of you and your Adventure. I’ve been plant based for a few years and love your channel. My husband and I made this soup today and added in a few extra things. Actually, for us this would be called the “clean out the fridge soup”. We added in cauliflower, fennel, kale, garbanzo beans (sorry Mary M), and some beautiful giant red scallions along with your ingredients. We also cheated by using tiny potatoes which were small enough to use whole. I made my husband prep all the veggies as he’s a professional chef. He’s even faster than the chopper. When we served the soup we added some Cholula (hot sauce), because we like our food to bite us back. Because we added all those extra veggies we almost ran out of room in the pot. I must say I’ve never been a fan of vegetable soup, but this has completely changed my opinion. Thanks for the inspiration on all levels.

Are you on MeWe? That is where I will share it. "Plant Based" group. Mewe is pretty cool. Not as popular as Facebook, but the setup is very similar. MeWe doesn't do privacy violations like FB does, though.

I haven't done M's mini, yet. I keep intending to. Having a soup to have as a different "texture" would be a nice addition. I will try a version of this. Thank you! (I won't add the lemon juice or some of the spices). I eat very bland food….and enjoy it!

Please show exactly how you made the peppers (For us who can't quite figure it out) also do you think the method would work with other veggies. It is the amount of salt in most recipes that prevents me from making them. Thanks

Sooooo for the 10 day ‘potato diet’ I think you guys mainly ate potatoes for each meal as your starch. Couple questions…are the peas not a starch? Could u eat this soup for the 10 days most meals or is there something about the ‘one food’ per meal that helps reset your body and thinking? Also I believe I hav watched all videos but what did you hav for breakfasts? Shredded potatoes? Coffee? And if u normally do not eat breakfasts is it wise to try to eat your starch? Thank you so much for videos great work you guys!!!

It must be so nice to have a partner who is on this journey with you, it is so hard to eat this way when someone else is cooking up steak and potatoes in the same kitchen.
