I love glow recipe, but the banana was not for me! The watermelon overnight gel mask is heaven, I find it pills if I use it over anything else. The avocado eye cream is one of my faves too. I'm going to have to try the plum one next after watching this. Thank you for covering the whole range, as if it's not great then it's an expensive mistake. I trust your opinion on these things 😃

Im trying out glycolic acid now with the sunday riley good genes. because i used a face wash from nivea with lactic acid and my skin cleared up suddenly so I think my skin likes lactic acid or glycolic acid! So next I will try the glow recipe blueberry cleanser since it has glycolic acid 🙂
has anyone recommendations for a cheap lactic/glycolic acid serum?

hey james! not sure if this is the smell of the vitamin c serum you were thinking about but it smells like jolly ranchers to me? I'm not sure if they have those in the UK but that is what it smells like, in my opinion! 🙂

Dare I say that Aldi did some dupes of this brand and I really liked them. 😕 I wish they had made them permanent products. I intend to use the real ones when mine have run out though based on your reviews and opinions.

Does this rankin site allow to change the colors? Everyone doin these videos uses red for good and green for bad and it drives me nuts. This is bad design haha. People associate green with good and red w bad. The color scale needs to b reversed.

Honestly, James is the reason I now only use Glow Recipe EVERYTHING. I love it, my skin loves it… he’s amazing and I believe his honesty about the brand is why I chose to start buying all their stuff! ❤

The sleep mask does peel but for me it’s not the product pilling it’s literally my skin PEELING. Yes it can be slightly frustrating but I let it sink in then I take a washcloth before bed and wipe that top layer of skin off. Ugh I just love the way it makes my face feel!!!!!!! The website does warn that this can happen and they suggest putting it on damp skin but I’ve never tried it because I enjoy the satisfaction of seeing that layer come!

I love the plum plump cream! It’s is the closest I’ve come to finding a similar product to the discontinued earths recipe tremella mushroom moisturizer in terms of feel. I also really want to try to strawberry product once I’m done with the Paula’s choice bha liquid. I did try the blueberry bounce cleanser and I didn’t really like it. It seemed to leave a film on my skin no matter how much I rinsed and I didn’t really like that.

I love their sunscreen and their watermelon moisturizer! I bought the mist recently and I’m loving that too. I was so disappointed I didn’t like the plum plump serum – it irritated my skin immediately which was so odd…

I also don’t get along with vitamin C serums much – I was hoping the Farmacy one would be a win given how much I generally love their products but it was far too oily for me. And I just couldn’t get past the smell either!

Whenever that sleeping mask was peeling off my face like spider webs, l felt a tiny bit like a woman on a 1950s TV show wearing a layer of cold cream to bed. I have loved everything I have tried from Glow Recipe.

I just started using the Plum Plump serum and it’s wonderful. TBH I haven’t used too many HA products but this leaves me not needing to try any more! The cleansing balm is lovely too. I want to try the Krave one next, but if that’s not amazing I’ll be very happy to go back to the Glow Recipe one forever 🧡

Glow recipe is my go too (along with Cosrx). I have aging, dehydrated, irritated/red, freckled skin and use the balm, blueberry cleanser, and the toner, every day. I use the avocado retinol eye mask a couple times a week and the banana moisturizer is my holy grail! I never thought something so light could work so well on my skin. I’ve gotten so many compliments since I started using it. Love love this stuff ❤️

The banana soufflé moisturizer is my personal favorite because it gives my dry skin much needed hydration and a really pretty glow, and I truly think that using their products has helped my acne become occasional for me when I used to always have at least multiple spots somewhere on my face. I also like the papaya cleansing balm, it’s the only one I use!

Love this video! I've kind of tuned out of the skincare world for a while now because I've got my routine down but this is making me think maybe I can elevate it a bit. Excited to try something new :)) the only glow recipe product I've ever tried is the ceramic serum, so maybe that's why I was a bit meh with them

I feel like generally glow recipe is great for younger skins and a good introduction to veryyy mild actives. I’m older and combatting a lot of sun damage and do a lot of anti aging high strength actives in my skincare routine. I do love to use glow recipe on days I’m taking a break from my actives at night or something but I can’t really ever use up anything from glow recipe because I just don’t reach for them enough. I feel like I’ll have an anxiety attack if I stop my actives too many nights/days in a row

I actually like the glow recipes vitamin c serum but because it’s all derivatives I actually apply it ontop of my regular l-ascorbic acid vitamin c. I need the real thing for that real glow and major anti aging routine. In my opinion depending on your skin a real vitamin c serum is a must along with sunscreen as well as Vitamin A. I’ve see the most results from vitamin c and retinal or tretinoin

Love your reviews! All you say is true to me… I did love the new version of the pineapple serum and it’s sad that it got discontinued
On the other side… I was expecting the avocado masks (eye and full face) .. did I miss them? I didn’t see them on the chart 😕

I have struggled with my hormonal acne since I got it at 25 and I’ve gone through so many products BUT Glow Recipe has changed my skin. The Watermelon Glow toner is amazing, the banana moisturizer calms my redness and I can’t stop using the blueberry cleanser. I think I finally found products that help and I’m 28 lol it took me this long.

They did make an avocado cream, it was also a sleeping mask. I never understood the small jar for under the eyes or the big jar for your entire face? It felt really good and cooling and calm and if course moisturizing when you put it on, and it came with a spoon, but unfortunately it expired because I couldn't use it in time. It was way better than the watermelon sleep mask as far as it didn't peel, but the scent wasn't as good as the watermelon. I agree I loved the pink juice, the watermelon mist, the plum plump cream, the banana souffle, the pineapple serum which was discontinued, I now have had to replace with the guava CANT LIVE WITHOUT! as far as the strawberry 🍓 serum, I guess I didn't know how to properly use it? Now i will start ysing it on my nose. But another product i can't live without is the pore tight watermelon toner. I have a routine since 2017 and the only thing that's changed is them discontinuing the pineapple 🍍 and also, not to buy the wardrobe or the package deal whatever it may be called now, im sure that's why the Avacado mask and the retinol eye mask expired as there are no returns for a reason. Anyways the only thing that's changed besides the fact they discontinued the pineapple 🍍 serum, and you actually COULD get all of the product out because the container wasn't shaped the way they do them now, plus the squeeze dropper was phenomenal! And you could shake out what was left? But i use the banana souffle in the winter, I never use the plum plump serum, and I love the plum plump cream. Don't get me wrong, i love all of their products. But the main problem with the bottles now is the pump doesn't go anywhere near the bottom, making you order more. This us what upset me the most, because it's already not affordable for most people, and you never just need one item, especially when you start using glow recipe, you can't stop. Nothing works as good as their products. The banana souffle and the Acacado serum are GREAT for soothing your skin and taking the heat out of it, whether you are sunburnt or just got too hot outside or in the hot tub or pool. They instantly soothe and taje the redness AWAY! I am pretty sure we are on the same page with their products. Thanks for uploading, I love your content. I don't even wear makeup anymore, I just focus on skincare. 💜💜💜

I don’t love the sunscreen because it smells way too sunscreeny. I went through two bottles of the guava serum and don’t see any results. Like, it’s nice and feel good, but I didn’t see a different in my dark spots/acne scars. But so many of their products are amazing.

The watermelon toner is an absolute holy grail for me too- has transformed my larger pores and skin condition in general. The only product I’ve ever used that promises to tighten pores… and ACTUALLY delivers. I’m notoriously unfaithful with skincare, but I’ve re-bought this one for years now 🍉 ❤️💖

Thank you for raving about their products so much. I started using the toner and dew drops in November last year and now have a decent collection of their products.
It really helped my skin bounce back to life after pregnancy.
