One of our family favorites. Toasting the noodles, sunflower seeds and almonds is new. Also our recipe uses the same 2 pkgs Ramen noodles chicken and the enclosed seasons. The dressing is make with the 1/2 cup oil, 1/3 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup sugar and soup seasoning packets of seasoning. Itβs delicious. Iβll have to try the toasting. Thanks
So a lady im Church brought this to our Church Pot Luck one time some 35 yrs ago, ish,, and some of us lost our munds over it and jusy had to have the recipe… and here we are reliving my past and writing the recipe down AGAIN because we are Probly having this tonight π… π π€£ π I do this all the time. Whatch a show.. then go make it.. kind of my M.O. typical of me for sure. π₯°.. Thanks for sharing your recipe ππ
Wow Catherine looks great π yummy π gonna try it, thank you for sharing with us, blessings to you and your family π from Diana Vasquez πππ
Love this recipe so much! Have made it for years and it never gets old. My family loves it. I will give you a βhackβ for the noodles. Open package of noodles just a tiny bit to let the air out, then holding the open part (so it doesnβt go everywhere) and smack the noodle package with a large spoon or small rolling pin. It breaks them up into the perfect size to toss in the butter and toast along with the nuts, etc. Just a easy less messy way to break them apart. Thanks for posting this.

Catherine, Iβve got this recipe and have made it several times. I love the idea of adding chicken and toasting the noodles. We always have leftovers so I sprinkle the noodles when I serve it donβt like when the noodles get soggy!
That recipe is very good, but I just cannot use that much sugar in the dressing. I do not like dressings that are too sweet, and that made my teeth hurt, seeing how much sugar you put in there. haha I definitely would use much less – probably no more than 1 tbsp. I know many people like their salad dressings very sweet, but for me, that much sugar is just too, too much.
Looks really yummy Will have to try it I break up the noodles by leaving the package closed, put the package on the counter and punch it down with my closed fist or even bang it on the counter a few times Now when i open the package the noodles r broken up to the size i wanted
AT LAST!! I have been looking for this recipe forever! A man I worked with brought some in to share at work. I loved it. He gave me the recipe but I left it at work when my hubby got sick and I had to work from home to care for him. Then 25 +yrs later I had someone ask him about the recipe and he said he didn't remember the dish..lol! So I will share yours back to him π. Funny how things play out. Thanks!
