    I have made this many times and it is really Good. First I measure out the noodles and get them boiling. She says to measure out 12 oz. I use about 8 oz. We like a lot of sauce, depends on your taste. While it is cooking I grade the cheese so I have it ready. Measure out the milk and put it in the cooking pan and add the flower and start mixing. Then turn on the heat, to about med./low Add the salt and pepper. And mix and mix while it is cooking. Keeping a close eye on the milk because it will burn very easily. And you do not want that. Don't get in a hurry, take the time to let the sauce thicken up. Take off heat and set aside. Add cheese. Then drain the noodles and add to mix. The hot noodles will help melt the cheese. And mix and mix. I let it sit for a few min. before eating. Good Stuff.
