So if there are indeed health advantages to blood donation, does that mean there was actually some merit to medieval blood-letting?
Dr. Greger, I would love to find out more about healing from Microscopic Colitis as I and 2 siblings all suffer from it. It seems as though most beans and lentils trigger flares for us as do onion, cabbage & broccoli 😥 . (Weirdly chickpeas and navy beans seem safe as do red lentils, curious about the science behind that; will probably never know!)

Avacado and bananas turn brown, don't tell Dr Goldner not to eat them.
I did an n=1 experiment with avacado, ate it every day and it did not negatively affect my cholesterol.
