The airfryer is perfect for crispy dry foods (think of any food that is usually grilled or fried) the instant pot/pressure cooker is perfect for saucy/curry style dishes, soups, stews, rice and pasta, baking, stir frying, making collagen rich broth, corn on the cob is AMAZING in it, steamed food, and for making yogurt.

I own both and I honestly love using both. sometimes I would love to pressure cook meat until its fall off the bone soft and then add it to the airfryer to give it a quick crisp to the outside (or to crisp tofu and then add it with sauces to make amazing curry i the instant pot). or I would be making chicken or steak in the airfryer while preparing potatoes/corn/rice/pasta in the instant pot.
