I see what you're doing there Ken…..you've gotten another kitchen toy from someone at Christmas and are now showin' it off. 😀😀 Liquid smoke gets added to split pea soup for smokey flavor when I don't have a hambone or smoked turkey sausage on hand.

I do something similar but I smoke it on my pellet smoker and instead of wrapping in foil I finish it in the pressure cooker comes out perfect every time with a good smoke flavor and bark
