    Wendy’s PSMF Savory Keto Buns

    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F Makes 6 buns

    Ingredients:

    200g egg whites, at room temperature

    1/2 tsp Cream of Tartar

    1/2 cup plain egg white powder

    1/2 tsp nutritional yeast (I use Bragg’s brand)

    1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

    1/4 tsp active yeast

    1/4 tsp onion powder or granules

    1/4tsp garlic powder or granules

    1/4 tsp Redmond Organic Season Salt

    2 TBSP Allulose, or 1 tsp swerve confectioners

    1/2 scoop Tomato Basil Keto Chow

    Instructions:

    1. Add the cream of tartar and egg whites to mixing bowl and beat on high until stiff peaks form.

    2. In another bowl mix all the rest of the dry ingredients and mix together with a fork.

    3. Do not add the rest of the dry ingredients until at the end once the egg whites have stiff peaks, then add it in and blend just until incorporated. Do not over beat

    4. Spoon batter into a sprayed non-stick silicon bun pan. Add the batter in making sure the sides have batter but leave a little nest in the middle in order to add your favorite meat and cheese ingredients into then add more batter on top covering the meat mix completely.

    5. Sprinkle with everything but the bagel or Italian or other favorite seasoning or topping (optional)

    6. Put into pre-heated 350-degree F oven and cook for about 20 minutes or until done, then turn off the oven and leave the buns in for about 10 mins to cool down. Remove from oven and let rest for about 5 minutes then remove very carefully from the pan and serve warm.

    7. Alternate Bread: exchange the Tomato Basil and Italian seasoning for the Savory Chicken Soup and Poultry Seasoning instead

    Just want to give a suggestion…when beating the egg whites to stiff peaks before adding the dry ingredients, put the cream of tartar in with the egg whites first. Hope this helps 😀
