Rick I have prepared many of your recipes from your channel and this one by far has been the best!!! It is restaurant quality! The only thing I did different was add canned diced potatoes because I did not want the tedious process of peeling and dicing them. Yes, I drained them first! This is an A+ recipe!!!

Your soup looks great! Like you said, I think that the cream and the onions would go together very well.

I tend to salt my food heavily as well, so I try to point out if salt is absolutely necessary or not. However, I think that 1 Tablespoon would be fine for you since it's such a large pot of soup. I am uploading a video of "locro" soon, an Argentine stew, and it was somewhat surprising how much spice I had to add in order for it to really be flavorful: people have to realize that a soup or stew is actually a large volume of food, so it takes a lot to make it flavorful.

    Once again, great recipe!

looks great Rick— I love soup and I love potato soup especially. I make this too but I don't eat pork so I use turkey breakfast sausage instead of the bacon or pork products

Rick, you made my eyes roll back in my head! The addition of shredded cheddar cheese kicks this luscious potato soup up to the highest level of tastiness! Great job mystery friend!
