But If mushrooms are not your thing…or your missing the mouth feel of tripe….
You can order dried Snow Fungus…Soak in cool water until rehydrated and lightly chop or snip using scissors into large bite size pieces…add to menudo.
Totally 1,000 percent exact same texture and mouth feel as tripe. Can not tell the difference! Doesn't add the mushroom flavor or change the flavor either. Its a little pricey but worth it imo.
