Guess how much recipe?! why didn't you qualify the amounts?
We eat plenty of red and white beans over rice where I'm from, but I don't think I've ever tried black beans. This looks tasty. I wonder what it would taste like with sausage?
Your black bean recipe is my go to every time Lynn!
Was watching another pressure cooker bean video, and it only took 9 min. to cook. Why did yours take 30? Thanks.
I am Cuban, love to cook and that was the best recipe. Totally legit. I normally cook my beans in a pot but have been wanting to use my pressure cooker for a long time. You have shown me the way. Thanks
Followed this recipe and it came out beautifully! Thank you!
I love the salt and pepper mill.what brand is it?
Lynn’s intro music and lame lighting makes me feel like it’s a boring Sunday after football season and it’s raining and gloomy outside. Add some life to it Lynn. I know you hate criticism but I’m just being honest
I love this cooker!>>>arah.in/KIUv I grew up around pressure cookers in the kitchen, and knew of the danger that they could blow up if not properly taken care of. This cooker almost makes it impossible to fail. The fact that it's electric was originally why I was attracted. I usually prepare meals on Sunday for my husband and I to last the week. This cooker has made it possible for me to cut the cooking time in half, without changing the quality of the meals. It was a great purchase, I'm happy I did it.
They look DELICIOUS! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the recipe! Can't wait to try it!
your intro music sounds boring. Takes away interest in your video
thanks Lynn for the recipe going to make it tonight. Thanks again.
You are right. It is better to rinse them after soaking.
As this stale water can cause gases to build up in the digestive system.
I like to cook my beans with diced beetroot.
I have an stove based pressure cooker. So I guess once it is level two, cook for twenty minutes on very low heat.
Switch off, and let steam off for 10. Should be done. If not just boil another then, without covering.
Thanks for posting.
Appreciate your video, how do you use the pressure cooker without having to ree-soak the beans in water over night. thank you
That's a recipe I will try.thank you
I love black beans and that recipe looks great! I've noticed everyone now is using the Tristar Pressure Cooker now in there videos. It looks like a great cooker and nice for small meals instead of getting the huge canning pressure cooker out. I was wondering did you get the pro series or the regular one?
Wow, this black bean dish looks delicious, Lynn! I must try it one day. Thanks for sharing this dish with us! =D
Hi Lynn. I love your Cuban Black Beans! i make beans often because they are so nutritious, high in protein and fiber. It´s really good to process a little bit of the cooked beans to thick the result. I make it too. I really like to add cilantro and cumin for extra flavour.
Have a wonderful day!
Love,
Patricia.
Lynn, your Pressure Cooker Cuban Style Black Beans look delicious. I love the picture you have with the contrasting colors of the black beans, the yellow dish, and the red place mat. Nice video! Have a beautiful evening. Love, –Betty 🙂
Beans look really good Lynn, I wouldn't think you needed to soak them overnight if you are using a pressure cooker.
Those black beans look so delicious and healthy too. Hope you are having a good week Lady Lynn. Thanks for the video too. 🙂
Hi Lynn! I'm so glad you prepared another pressure cooker dish. One of the reasons I wanted pressure cooker, was to cook beans that I started from dry. The dried have more fibre, even after you cook, than the canned variety. This recipe looks wonderful. I wonder if your measuring cups are in your website store? They are so pretty…similar to Le Creuset. I find that attractive cooking gear inspires me to cook well. The kitchen atmosphere matters to me too. You have a very nice kitchen, as well as good pots and pans, appliances, and gadgets! Have a wonderful evening. ~ Julia
Lynn, your black beans look very appetizing. I love beans. Have a wonderful day
