One, the fact that it has no on or off button, is not a pro, it's a con
Two, why not throw all the potatoes in?
Three, I can promise you that you can burn yourself releasing that steam valve if not careful
Four, why is he using metal utensils in that thing! Silicone dummy!

This is a nice tool for the kitchen. I don't cook but love wonderful food. I am learning how to cook in this. I've had it for 2-years.I'm doing my recipes southern style in my cooker today. Cooking for 6-8 hours. After like you did I'll use the drippings to make a gravy mine more like a southern red eye. I left all my veggies whole. I will use this top cut roast for tacos for the next night… adding cilantro, avo and a good salsa. Very versatile doing a roast like this.I didn't know I could sear in the cooker. Thanks for that.

I bought this power pressure cooker xl 10 quart and had it on a TV special with x number of monthly payments. And just as I made the last payment the damn thing stopped heating so without heating it wouldn't cook. I paid $200 for this pot and fully expected it to last longer than the payments did, but no it didn't hold up and we're an average family of four. Nothing left to do was throw this expensive useless pot in the trash. I think if I buy another power pressure cooker I'll try a cheap instant pot from Walmart, we're not a rich family and this was a big hit for us to lose $200 for something that didn't last till the payments were done. Buyer Beware!!

Xl Now I know why I see power pressure cookers on the street for the dump. I’ve been asking for instructions for cooking lemon pepper wings using power pressure cooker xl and I get instructions for other cooking equipment. I’m going to wait until I get to the garbage can and all my neighbors are home to smash this junk in the street. I needed instructions but I never received any info for using the power pressure cooker xl step by step instructions for cooking lemon pepper wings. I told family and friends I have one but now they are going to know why I’m smashing this junk

I’ve had mine for about four years but the white markings on the knob wore off after only a couple of uses! So that I would know where the circle was with the dot and the steam release, I had to mark them both with fingernail polish! Be aware!

We have the original Power Pressure cooker! The 'nonstick' coating started to peel the first time I used it. Also I don't recommend cooking any dairy products in it especially cheese it separates it!

Excellent video! For a long time I did not know how to brown in this pressure cooker, and you gave me the info at the beginning right away, awesome! Now, my question is how to cancel a selection, like sometimes I use sautee and it gives me 25 minutes which I do not need. I do not know how to change that amount, so I have tried unplug the cooker, but it has memory and I cannot cancel that selection, so I have to wait until the 25 minutes are gone to go on with my next step. Also, let say that when you selected the 40 minutes of cooking in this video, you consider is too long and want to change that, how do you do it? Thanks

Kinda ridiculous to set beans and lentils at the same cooking time, and odd that it would suggest 5 minutes is enough for beans. Further odd that it only allows me to set it for a maximum of 30 minutes for beans. It a "real" pressure cooker, which gets just as hot, it take more than an hour to fully cook beans from dry. Then when you add the 41 minutes just to heat up enough to start cooking, it doesn't seem like this thing is quite as big a deal as you might think. On the up side, if you can figure out how to get your beans cooke adequately, then it will be good to be able to just turn it on and not have to set a timer for turning it off (as you would with a "real" pressure cooker, meaning the regular original ones that you heat on the stove with gas).

I presume this info can be used generally for any pressure cooker. Which is why I'm watching it. 😁. My friend is selling me a brand new one for $30 that she never used.

I think that this is better than the pressure cooker I was raised with in the 60's!
I learned how to cook in a pressure cooker starting when I was about 14 years old and my dad told me not to worry about it it wasn't going to explode so he made sure I knew how to do it perfectly and what he did too cool that pressure cooker write down fast he poured cold water over the pressure cooker when it was in the sink so he cook everything in time everything and then he take it off the stove while it was rocking on the top of the cooker that's a little knob that would rock and then he would put it in the sink and immediately put cold water on the pressure cooker lid and it would just release Steam cool down immediately and then he would lift off the pressure cookers little knob and there we were wonderful tender beef chicken makes the best Stew's and over my years since then I've used a pressure cooker and then I lost it and then my move I forgot about it and recently my girlfriend told me about a pressure cooker like this one and I said to myself I wonder if it's as good as my dad's old pressure cooker I was raised with and after watching your video on how you demonstrate it it is quite obvious it's better than Grandpa's it's better than my dad's LOL usually we shouldn't say that about a parents being a better cook on this case this pressure cooker is better than what I was brought up thank you so much for this video and like I said there is nothing to be afraid of if you follow your videos properly. Singing going to explode even if you didn't follow it properly LOL no I'm just kidding but like you said even if you wanted to take that lid off you wouldn't be able to until the pressure was down so I hope anybody who's watching this video buy from you or buys from the company or buys from the store I don't care where they buy it but it's one of the best ones online thank you so much young man and may God be with you
