You are so right about calorie density! For example, dry oats are 1700 calories per pound, but cooked with plenty of water they are 350 calories per pound! Wet starches vs dry is important for me to keep in mind when I find myself eating loads of air fried goodies 🙂 Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos! I watch every single one of them! I just adore you, Gabe & Romi 🥰

I’m lucky enough to work from home so I just wear my workout clothes all day and then go to the gym as soon as I turn my laptop off. Getting changed is also a mental struggle for me so it stops that!

I Also Found I would measure 1/2 cup of oats when in fact that would make me totally stuffed. No I do 1/4 and feel much better and still full for a loong time, as i Also add berries, chia and flax etc

YES, there can be a big difference in the calorie density of foods when you airfry them. Removing the moisture from foods will make them more concentrated (crisper-yummy-er) and, adding salt will almost always want you to eat more, as salt makes things taste good. Just ask yourself, how many (healthy) foods would you not enjoy as much if you didn't add salt?

Hi Ami! Just wanted to leave a comment to thank you for sharing your journey. I look forward to each of your videos. I have been vegan for 10
yrs and mostly follow the principles of starch solution, but your videos make following it 100% relatable and inspiring. Cheers from the USA!

I love you and Romi eating side by side..it is just so joyful, your feeding her with such fresh wholesome foods, so healthy for the body. Yes veggies, we seem to crave more when we love the textures more and more.

On day 6 of a super bland potato reset. Eating loads of veg and potato, and haven't lost a pound so Thank you for mentioning that. I don't have much to lose, and really this is about kicking my butt back into gear. Eating like this for 6 days has been so helpful in terms of no overeating and consistency. Thank you for the inspiration. Love watching you be a mom too – your little sweetie reminds me of my 1 year old so much

Love, have you ever track your cycle? When you speak about your fluctuating energy I keep meaning to ask you as your hormones can really affect energy. When I’m close to ovulating I often have days where I get so much done (and feel on top of the world lol). P.S. thank you for everything you do and for being so down to earth Ami. You’re so inspiring and so lovely to “spend time with” ❤

Thanks for mentioning the weight loss or lack of weight loss during the potato reset. It is very helpful. I made the cinnamon pudding and it is great. Can you share how you roasted the marmite potatoes?

Question…I have lost 5 pounds in 9 days and am super excited to keep going! However, now I feel "scared" to ever go back to eating oats, beans, rice, etc. thinking I may gain it all back. What are your thoughts on this?

Thank you so mush for these videos! I lost 25lbs on the Starch Solution in 2021, but have since lost my way and gained 10lbs back. I needed some inspiration to help get me back on track and your videos are perfect. Thanks again!
