Gentle reminder – absolutely no need to turn this into baby/puree food. Leave out the blender for a rustic, delicious, 'real' soup. I find the overuse of a blender in so many of these YT videos to be a big turn off. It's almost as if folk don't want to see the components…i.e. it's too 'dirty'/low class lol.

My hubby is a type 2 diabetic, and potatoes in quantity are a no-no, but he does most of the cooking these days and has been looking for a recipe like this. I WILL show it to him! I love potato leek soup!

You are absolutely adorable. I love the recipe and appreciate it greatly. A few observations. Not all of us have a kitchen tool like you have. I know that you mentioned shipping from Amazon, I'm going to make my soup today. Lastly, the way you speak is kind of like a valley girl every sentence goes up, made it a little difficult listening. This is just some input you may want to take in for consideration. Thank you much I'm going to try out the soup without the puree.

I heard I can freeze this soup once it has been pureed and maybe without the cream – have you ever tried to freeze soups like this with potato in it – love your channel – been subscribing for years – Cheers 🍁

You don't like the green leaf ends of leek?!
It's often the show stealer in my cooking with huge chunks having a deep green color that adds color to any dish. A tasty fresh flavor and you can put long wide pieces in your pan like a piece of bacon.
It's also great for adding something chewy to a sauce like gravy or homemade mushroom sauce. I love adding mainly the green part in my meals.
