The title should be Roast Beef; NOT “Pot Roast”. If you want a pot roast, use chuck or 7-blade. If you want roast beef that has to be sliced, use eye-of-round, tenderloin, top or bottom round, rump, etc. just sayin’. 😘

Maybe you can help me. I cooked my first roast in the Instant pot. A beef tip sirloin, or two pieces, weighing a total about four pounds. I used two cups of water and set the roast on the trivet. I set the timer for seventy five minutes. The roast is tender but has absolutely no taste. Did the roast get saturated with moisture and lost all flavor? Any help is greatly  appreciated. Thank you

Love this pressure cooker!>>>ur2.pl/1035 I made Thai curry with chicken in 30 min and steamed rice in 6! I was a bit apprehensive as this is my first time using anything like this but getting started was pretty simple. It is important to follow instructions and "season" the seal. This would be a great gift for busy moms or really anyone who needs great food, super fast. I got this during prime day but will look for another deal around the holidays.

I just bought an Instant Pot and I have been watching various channels on how to operate mine. I agree with others. All the buttons on them and no one uses them. Mine says pressure cooker rather than manual. I think your pot roast recipe is the best one I have seen so far as others seem to put everything but the kitchen sink in them in the way of seasonings. But, I still won't be using some of the seasonings you did. I just cook for myself so it doesn't have to be real fancy.

Hello, this the first time I saw one of your videos. I subscribed. I have watched a lot of pressure cooking videos. I was confused about all the buttons that most people don't use. It looks like they don't have a purpose.

Been doing a lot of research in trying to decide whether or not to get an Instapot, but I'm getting frustrated with one aspect. Why do none of you use the presets other than "saute"? There is a button there that says "meat/stew." Why aren't you pushing it? It's not just you…another channel I've looked at does the same thing. Pasta cooked at "x" minutes instead of using the pasta setting. Why? Is there something wrong with it? Will I need to develop a mental roladex of how many minutes per item? I was hoping that the presets would save time, but that seems unlikely if no one feels they are worth using.

i have used pressure cookers in afghanistan and over heat. if you don't time that shit properly, it explodes. are these pots safe?? do they turn off automatically if they reach a certain point of heat? i want to invest in one but i don't want it exploding in my face.
