Hi Everyone, This beef came out fabulous. 20 min per pound thawed or 20 min per pound x 1.5. for frozen. You can use a chuck roast, eye of the round roast any …
This was the best pot roast i have ever had. The meat was so tender and juicy. I can't wait to have it again
Made this again tonight, came out just as wonderful as all the other times I've made in as you instructed ~ Thank you again ~
The title should be Roast Beef; NOT “Pot Roast”. If you want a pot roast, use chuck or 7-blade. If you want roast beef that has to be sliced, use eye-of-round, tenderloin, top or bottom round, rump, etc. just sayin’. 😘
I was told to not add the veggies till the last 15 minutes or so. Any opinion on this. I was told they would be too soggy if cooked the whole 20 minutes per pound
The paste is called a Rue.
I wouldn't let myself be a object 4 all the mean people out there
Maybe you can help me. I cooked my first roast in the Instant pot. A beef tip sirloin, or two pieces, weighing a total about four pounds. I used two cups of water and set the roast on the trivet. I set the timer for seventy five minutes. The roast is tender but has absolutely no taste. Did the roast get saturated with moisture and lost all flavor? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you
You never actually rubbed the meat.
That stainless pot looks toxic… I highly recommend Bar Keepers Friend.
Stop giving your husbands hard earned money on them mall /Asian nail salons.. Not even close to being worth it.. Love the recipe though. 🙄
Can you make a recipe of pot roast pot laced with pot please
Love this pressure cooker!>>>ur2.pl/1035 I made Thai curry with chicken in 30 min and steamed rice in 6! I was a bit apprehensive as this is my first time using anything like this but getting started was pretty simple. It is important to follow instructions and "season" the seal. This would be a great gift for busy moms or really anyone who needs great food, super fast. I got this during prime day but will look for another deal around the holidays.
After about he 10th " I'm goin to go ahead" I couldn't watch it any longer.
Looks good!
I would have seared the roast on the stove first, then toss it in the Instant Pot.
how long it take without one of those cooker pots.?
Sear the meat first to lock in the juices and flavor. Then add your spices, salt, pepper and cook as described.
its very nice of you that you took your time to make this easy for others.nice and simple.I'm looking a slow cooker to buy..trying to see which one best..thanks for your video..if you think this one or any other one is best please let me know.did subscribed..you can visit my channel.my orchids and gardening.
You don't wash your carrots first?
Always sear beef roast, pork, ect Holds in flavor and helps with tenderness.
don't bang the spoon on the rim; you can damage the pot and it won't seal properly
Your vegetables are gonna be way over cooked
Doesn't look very appetizing. Maybe you should sear the meat first before putting it in the pot.
Fourty five isn’t even.
I just bought an Instant Pot and I have been watching various channels on how to operate mine. I agree with others. All the buttons on them and no one uses them. Mine says pressure cooker rather than manual. I think your pot roast recipe is the best one I have seen so far as others seem to put everything but the kitchen sink in them in the way of seasonings. But, I still won't be using some of the seasonings you did. I just cook for myself so it doesn't have to be real fancy.
hi dear, is it how much? and how big ? thanks
The non organic food is fighting higher priced dog shit…
How long does it take to heat the pot up BEFORE it starts building pressure with steam?
Is that a 6qt pot?
Hello, this the first time I saw one of your videos. I subscribed. I have watched a lot of pressure cooking videos. I was confused about all the buttons that most people don't use. It looks like they don't have a purpose.
Been doing a lot of research in trying to decide whether or not to get an Instapot, but I'm getting frustrated with one aspect. Why do none of you use the presets other than "saute"? There is a button there that says "meat/stew." Why aren't you pushing it? It's not just you…another channel I've looked at does the same thing. Pasta cooked at "x" minutes instead of using the pasta setting. Why? Is there something wrong with it? Will I need to develop a mental roladex of how many minutes per item? I was hoping that the presets would save time, but that seems unlikely if no one feels they are worth using.
,
The "paste" is called a roux.
i have used pressure cookers in afghanistan and over heat. if you don't time that shit properly, it explodes. are these pots safe?? do they turn off automatically if they reach a certain point of heat? i want to invest in one but i don't want it exploding in my face.
no sear first?
Yum 😋 I will try this one for sure.
No surprise Walmart didn't have what you needed.
Good job thx for sharing
45 is not even
