I love your Ponché recipe. I added walnuts to my pot because this is a family tradition. I don't like the hard seeds from the guyabas. So I scoop them out, boil this pulp separately, then drain this into my ponché pot. I discard those annoying seeds.
Hope your Mom is doing well. Prayers to you and the family.

I am so happy I found you and this lovely Ponche recipe… last year at this time I was in the Heart of Mexico "Puebla" enjoying the village come alive with cooking Ponche in the streets along with many other holiday treats! I simply adore the process and on my morning walk saw the ingredients going into the huge Steamer to my evening walk when I actually got to purchase a taza de ponche…. MIL GRACIAS! <3

SECOND UPDATE: this was SO GOOD! Followed the recipe exactly (even added more Jamaica like y’all did! 😜) My mom and my Sister were huge fans. My sister’s boyfriend is from Mexico and he tasted this and literally said “Oh my gosh, this tastes like Mexico!”

Ugh I wish I would have seen this before the holidays. I was wanting to find someone I can trust to make it. I subscribed after watching half of a second video because I can tell you know what you’re doing! I’m about to binge watch your videos, plus I’m not a twin but everyone thinks my sister and I are because we are the same as you two lol
