I'm asian and I'm still surprised that Americans use so much oil to make their salad dressing.
Where I live we make salad dressing like this, with shallow fried cashews, brown sugar blocks and some water.
We usually make them into thick paste and process them until thick enough to be form into a block like the brown sugar blocks.

Then it can be refridgerated or stored in room temp for a long time.
When You wanna use it, Just take a cut from that block, add tiny tiny warm water to disolve them

This recipe looks super yummy, I'll make it soon. Jill, I'm curious, why did the nutritious yeast stopped sponspring your program? Anything wrong with the product? I was wondering… I had a reaction to it so I couldn't continue eating it. Please let me know…👍

Thanks so much for posting/videoing this. A girl I knew from when my kids were homeschooled posted this recipe but hers used olive oil. This is perfect and I will definitely be trying this.
Thanks again for sharing your wonderful recipes.

Oh, wow! So excited to try this! A vegan version from stores with lots of oil used to be my favorite dressing for many years! But now for years, I haven't bought a dressing, nor put oil in a dressing I've made, so this sounds amazing!!
