This is a yummy ham cooked in the instant pot for 50 minutes then I cooked again for 20 minutes was sure it was done and it sure was it was falling off the bone.
Was this pressure cooked or boiled?
50 minutes is almost too long for 5 lb. I do a 10 lb in my 8-quart with two cups of liquid and 50 minutes
You only need 2 cups of water to do a large ham.
Use some cherry ginger ale instead of water mustard seed cloves and bay leaves I think you will like it
Why did u add so much water I dont understand.thsts where all your ham juice went I'd suppose.i am just asking why so much water
yummy
turned out nice
Since a smoked ham is already cooked, the 70 minutes seems incredibly excessive. Most recipes recommend 20-30 minutes (maybe more if the ham is bigger than say 10 pounds, lots of info out there about times) and only a cup or two of water. Were you simply trying to get it to the point it was falling off the bone??
Looked already cooked then you overcooked it. A regular simmer on stove would be for 50 mins. In the InstaNT pot, it would be prob only 30 mins, not the 70 mins you did.
I haven't done a ham yet
Over cooked
A lot of salt came out of that picnic ham. I would throw away the liquid.
I think you drowned it, you need to be on television, great video still smiling good night to you , i bet it tasted good
This ham looks great and I'm going to try it and try to make ham salad with the left overs
Please tell me you made soup with it afterwards. I know what I'm doing this weekend
That ham sure does look delicious.
Oh, that looks so good!!
