    Gonna be honest, yes the black beans are a preference but regular brown beans are the way mexicans really make it. Any other way is just a new style of making it. Nothing wrong with that just can't claim it as pure mexican anymore. The rice also. I never seen my grandma dice the onions. it was always in quarters.

    He blew it at Step 1. Mission tortillas are not "tortillas." They're thin flat bread. Not bad, but not a proper larded Mexican tortilla, not even close. This is a carne asada "wrap," not a burrito.
