I just wanted to come back here and tell you I made these cookies, and they are wonderful. The grandkids love them. They are very balanced in flavor. Thank you. These cookies will be in my family for years to come now. Thank you, Renea.

I’m hoping your mom starts feeling better. My husband is going three chemo again now. He had cancer last year and it came back. He’s awfully sick too. Make sure you take time to take care of yourself. I know first hand how it is. Be safe!

Just discovered your channel yesterday, oh my… I've watched 4 of your videos already and am making this recipe ASAP. I can relate to you on so many levels. The moment I heard your voice, I just knew you were a Michigan girl. I was born & raised there but moved away many years ago. Last year I lost my Mom & Grandma 9 weeks apart. It sure is nice to hear a Michigander speaking in my ear that sounds just like home. I had a couple of your videos playing in my kitchen earlier today while I started my chilli & baked off my cornbread for tonight's dinner. It's a cold one down here in southern Indiana but I know it's colder back home. Like you, I spend a lot of time alone & it sure was nice to have you in the kitchen with me, you actually sound just like one of my old friends from back home. Boy did that make me smile & I thank you for that. Hope you and your are having a wonderful day, may God bless you ….

Those cookies look like a recipe I used to have years ago but lost! They were so yummy, although I think it also added raisins and it was called trail mix I think. I just looked in the description and the recipe wasn’t there yet, did you forget to add it? I hope your mom is feeling well soon πŸ™πŸΌπŸ’

Thanks for sharing, this recipe looks delicious! 😊 I know how hard it can be when you have a sick momma. My Mom was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer and she had a very difficult time with chemo. Do the best that you can and rest when needed. Sending hugs and prayers to you and your family. πŸ’•
