any parent who does not reward themselves responsively after working so hard day in and day out. is going to go crazy one day…most likely after the kids move out of the house. always remember to reward yourself for a hard days work!

Girl, you've slimmed down. I first noticed it your face and now I can tell in your upper body too. Congrats, and could you please share a little on that process? Many of us could use the encouragement and tips!

Does your family have a "go to" recipe? for days that you're running late or need something fast? I have a good food storage but my problem is I'm not very good at throwing things together. Do you have a recipe page where all your recipes are?

I have my 3 year pantry. Then I got sick and can't eat most of it anymore. I cook batch meals out of it for my husband and freeze since I was cooking 2x per meal. At least I can eat the canned vegetables….

Oh my gosh! I can't believe the price of food at the moment. Here in New Zealand chicken breast goes for about $14 a kg (about 2.2lbs) same goes for ground beef which is roughly the same price. Alot of the stores have done a "price freeze" while we're in winter time to make food more affordable for families. That helps when the powerbills are coming in over $300 a month just to keep the homes warm 😣

I bought chicken legs and thighs, bone in and skin on for .99 a pound this week at Fred Meyer (Kroger) and I'll freeze them. A few weeks ago I bought 5 dozen eggs for 1.99 so I bought 2 packs and have been making quiche and egg bakes for breakfast to use them up. Quiche freezes beautifully. Also hard boiled eggs for snacks and lunch, and also deviled eggs and egg salad. We even scrambled some plain for the dogs 🐕

Great video! I love your energy. I'm going to work on finding more space in my pantry. There's things (non-food items) that I can move someplace else to make more space. I'm learning so much about food storage from you. Thanks for sharing!

    Hi,
With potatoes they contain a toxic when they have green on it or have those growing (eyes?.roots?) and is best to plant into dirt, så they can produce more potatoes.

We have a small house. 1-car garage, no basement (south FL), so I have very limited storage space. I have one 7-cft deep freezer, and the side/side fridge/freezer in the kitchen. I'm considering making room for a second deep freezer in our laundry room, but that will make things feel very squeezed in there. If only we had a crystal ball, right? For now, I'm as stocked as I can be on chicken breasts (the meat we eat most of), so my ongoing approach to chicken is to buy a flat pack every ten days or so, and meal prep three breasts for the week (on salads for lunch, plus dinner the night I grill it), and freeze the other 2-3 breasts. It's allowing me to stay stocked, and still keep monthly grocery spending down.
