In arabic we call this mloukhiyyeh, eaten all across the arab world as a stew in a chicken or meat broth, and the leaves are either left whole, roughly chopped, or chopped fine and boiled in broth until soupy. Is this a traditional bengali recipe or relatively new. In japan it has become popular recently and they call it morohiya, and they have it with noodles apparently.

Since you love kasundi so much…why not make path shaker kadai paturi..Put oil in a kadai, add kalo jeera or panch phoron, then add the cleaned path shak. Add salt, turmeric powder and little sugar. Let it get soft in it's own oozed water. Finally add sorse+posto+kancha lonka+little jeere bata. Let all blend in and then serve hot with rice. Try it once hope you will like it..

Nice recipe ! But we Odias are very much fond of 'Shak' with our authentic odia cuisine 'Pakhal bhat' ! And we never use turmeric in Shak ! But I shall try your method n make it tomorrow ! With 'Koshala shak' (Amarnath leaves) we usually tamper with panch phoran, garlic, dry chilli, green chilli n later add bori to it and in festivals n vrats make it with coconut. The famous 'Shaga muga' with moong dal n moringa leaves is my favourite one ! But I always love to try different cuisines nd will definitely prepare this tomorrow !!😁 In love with your channel ! Thanks n love !❤️
