I can't eat oats for breakfast. they're too sweet and upset my stomach. I can eat them at night, maybe as a dessert. hope you had a great day!
i do like a "carrot cake: over night oats. i grate up some carrots and granny smith apples and add that to the oats along with some plant milk, cinnamon, maple syrup and some chia . so yummy and a good way to sneak a veg in !
I really really don't like coffee but the other two sound delicious.
I'm happy you tried these and like them. It's such an easy breakfast. And super filling too! I use 1/2 cup TJ's GF rolled oats, 1/2 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, a teaspoon of vanilla, a teaspoon of agave and a tablespoon of chia seeds. I mix that together in a container and keep that in the fridge overnight. Then I top it with frozen organic berry mix from Costco that's thawed, coconut flake, chopped walnuts and hemp seeds. It keeps me full for like half the day.
I just ordered those jars!!! What oats do you use?
Hi Kim I put Tumeric and black pepper in my oatmeal! Have a good day
Luve you always
Do the bananas hold up well overnight in the jar? I like to use quinoa.
These look great! As far as overnight oats, I've only made Minimalist Baker's peanut butter overnight oats (http://minimalistbaker.com/peanut-butter-overnight-oats/) so far, but I really like them. Of course, pb takes everything up a notch! Have a great day! 🌼
These look yummy! I always want to try overnight oats, but we get the gluten free oats from Trader Joe's. They take forever on the stovetop, do you think they will work with these recipes?
Kim, I love this idea! I am wondering, do you eat these hot or cold the next day and will they work in plastic containers? I know it's not the best, but that's what I'm workin with lol 😂
Add chia seeds. It's life changing haha
