WHOA !! wait Dots pretzels are Midwest ? Man they are good but a little pricey and Hellmann's is best foods on the Western side of the Rocky mountains. Yooooooo I would pay to sleep in there , I love light houses Like if they needed a guy to be the watchman I would totally do it , See it says "Enjoy the Library with out food" So you could have eaten in there and just told them " I am not enjoying your library at all "

I am super interested in the Native cemetery , I wonder if they had permission to move the graves or if they just said " F-it we are moving these graves"

Great Video you guys Loved it

Did you sing ‘The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald “? Such a haunting song but a great melody.
Lk Superior definitely is more ocean than lake.
I held my breath as you walked like goats across the ‘ankle breaker’ rocks!
    Now to finish the video…
Oh, and the Joan of Arc canned beans? That was fun checking out the grocery product names! Amazing video so far!!

Now all the rest of the lakes will feel underwhelming lol! Starting off with the biggest like that…. Good call on the ear plugs. Definitely going to be bringing some next time i travel south…. Won’t make THAT mistake again.😂

I took a trip down memory lane when you stopped at the Super One Foods because I stopped there around thirty years ago. It brings back memories of all the trips I have made on highway 2, from Montana to the east end of the UP. Keep up the great videos and God bless you and your family.

There’s some cool stromatolite fossils with red druse quartz somewhere in Wisconsin that really reminds me of what I find in Missouri. It’s basically the same stuff formed in a similar way. I’m not sure where in Wisconsin but I keep seeing tantalizing posts on Facebook. I enjoyed seeing the lighthouse. Thanks for braving the sketchy walk. With F4RT my life is complete 😂 Happy New Years guys!

I could feel your excitement of being in new territory. I am surprised by the beautiful scenery. The lake seemed more like an ocean… so big. I too would have expected the smell of salt water.

It has been years since I last saw Lake Superior. All five of the lakes are beautiful, but different from each other. Next time you are in the area, consider driving up the North Shore in Minnesota. A lot of people think the area has somewhat of a Pacific Northwest vibe. You created another great video.

That was so cool to see you guys in my homestate! I'm glad you guys saw, if only a brief section, some of the beauty Wisconsin has to offer. Midwest probably does get a boring rap, and a big area may be rightfully so. But, so far you guys really have found some hidden gems. And I'm betting you found many more. I've not quite made it to Duluth/Superior. It's next on my list as I'd love to find some thomsonite and a banger of a Lake Superior agate. North of Duluth and along the Lake near Grand Marais (close to Canada) is Cascade River State Park. That's an absolutely gorgeous area I can't wait to see soon. Farthest I've been up that way is the Apostle Islands. Most lighthouses in a Natl Park! So, I know you guys must of seen much of that area up there. Tbh Northern Wisconsin and the UP is the best those states have to offer as far as natural beauty and rivals any other place in the states that I have been. I can't wait to see some camping sites you guys found!!! I loved the lighthouse you guys chose to visit and was so cool to see you guys brave it out there and show us that cool stuff….and spooky sounds 😁. Way cool to see Duluth at night. You guys gave me a taste of what to see when we do visit there soon…thanks! Was funny to hear you call them benches weird at the rest stop, Charlie. Just an inch further south of your finger when you were pointing to Illinois on the map is where I spent many of my years living…in a town of 9000 people called Morris. It is actually famous for the Mazon Creek area fossils that are found in museums all over the country! And not far from there is perhaps one of the most beautiful spots in Illinois ripe with Indian history, called Starved Rock. I highly recommend that area as well as the Cahokia Mounds if you've not visited yet. I do hope you guys make it back to Wisconsin. Ok, enough with my long text. Lol, have a blessed and safe, fun and exciting, truly great New Year!!!

This was very interesting to me 🙂 I have not been through that part of Wisconsin. The beach was beautiful as well as the walk through the forest. Pretty cool to see inside that lighthouse. I have been to Duluth once or twice in my lifetime. All I remember is all the rocks on the beach 🙂 Thanks for another great adventure. Your getting closer to Michigan now

Wow, that is such a huge lake! That was a pretty cool lighthouse too. I would definitely spend the night there for free. Fishing pole and tackle included of course! Lol.. It's crazy how much essentials are nowadays. Stupid inflation!
It really is cool to see how different rest stops are from state to state.
On a side note I think your left turn signal blinks faster than normal. You might have a driver's side break light out.
Great video guys! Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Years to you both! Man, i dont know about you guys, but im happy to leave 2022 behind me, with all of its inflation, and wars, and the worst government in history! And get on with living, and usher into existence for the first time, 2023!Where we have a chance for peace on earth, and we can honestly have some semblance of a government, that actually works for and represents the majority of the people in this country, and quits being single minded on a platform of hatred. The video was awesome. Wisconsin is beautiful! There is so much beauty in this world, and i thank the two of you, for showing that to us. Thanks! Happy New Years!
