I don't know about the colorization (it's kinda weird), but making Billy Wilder's frantic comedy masterpiece available for all to see is just fine. James Cagney's last movie for a long, long time, because, as he said, it wore him out!

Colorizing, and even more this way, should be considered a crime against humanity… this movies is a culural heritage por future generations, they should be able to see the original…

One of the greatest satyrical comedies… now unwatchable because it's colorized 🙁
Black and white movies have their own peculiar lights and photography: color DESTROYS all of this.

Biden commercial with subtitles because he doesn’t speak clearly ❤😂 Overspending America is endangering our future security … vote in ANYBODY who is fiscally responsible and not a career politician … support economic rights as well as human rights. Government must behave and stop this terrible inflationary overspending !! 😮

Bear in mind that today's colorization methods are far improved over the earliest versions in the 1980s and '90s. But it mainly depends on what kind of film is being colorized. Certainly a noir type like Citizen Kane should never be colorized. However if it was not lit with deep blacks and bright whites, and it exists in black and white only because its producers could not afford an expensive color production at the time, then there is no pressing need to ban adding color now. This particular film 123 isn't terrible, but has floating color issues. I've seen many that are far better, especially in the sci-fi genre.
