That looks sooo good! I love a good hearty soup, even in the summer. Those carrots are huge! I always see big beautiful carrots on YouTube, but we don't get them in our grocery stores here in Michigan. I mean we have good carrots, but not like that.
I live in Alberta and well-priced good quality, ranched beef is abundant. Thanks for a good beef recipe that uses one of the lesser cuts. I need to find this "chuck roll". Most chuck gets made into minced meat here.

I absolutely love soups and stews. So much so that I have to remind myself not to make them too often for Sunday dinner, because some in my large family are not as addicted as I am. I especially love old tried and true family recipes handed down through the ages. I also love discovering international recipes, especially the many regional versions of Asian broth recipes. Thanks for this, another great video! I'll be heading out to the grocery store shortly to make this one for supper this evening.
Another great recipe and with barley. I bought some barley some time ago and it is still not been used. I have ordered and instant pot of Lazada so will be cooking the soup but with pork.
