My mother used to cut up her ribs and boiling and when they boil real good she'll put bell pepper onion hot green pepper then she put a cabbage in it and fix some hot water cornbread and fix a sweet potato pie

I am 63 my mommy passed in 2015 at 90 years old we had it 2x a month only mommy cook the cabbage limp in a pot and she cook the neck bones in another pot and she took the pot liquor from the neck bones and cook a pot of rice and a pan of jiffy cornbread and bottle of hot sauce and when my grands came they ate it as well and 2x a month we had pig feet and FYI the vinger is to keep it from making your blood pressure high they also drank it too no doctors only emergency room it was our way to keep our blood pressure from getting to high they always put it in any pork meat pig feet neck bones greens and etc

Look delicious. Mom mostly used neck bones in sinigang (Filipino sour soup) when I was growing up. Since she has had grandchildren, she now uses boneless meats. I still use bone in meat. Although Daniel is autistic, he can still sort out the bones even from fish.
