Subbed! I just got an IP and started with this video. I used the same measurements except used chicken stock as liquid and added pepper and garlic. It turned out perfect with no residual liquid. Total time from closing the lid to letting sit 12 minutes and opening was 25 minutes. PERFECTION- thanks!

When you opened and closed your pot, there is an ascending and descending tone sequence – in your video it's fast – maybe 1 to 2 seconds start to finish. Mine usually does this much slower – maybe five seconds. Why? (A few times it did the tone sequence fast)

I'm about to have middle of the night quinoa. Really looking forward to this and appreciate the time to make this video. I did rinse my quinoa so I hope it is still void of mushiness.

I usually use the Pot-in-Pot method for rice and grains in my Instant Pot. Have you tried it?

This was the first thing I made in my instapot-I always wondered how Whole Foods had such fluffy quoina on their hot bar-now I make it at home! Thanks for this fool proof recipe Poonan!

I love to use my Instant Pot for dried beans, rices, and grains…in bulk. It took me a while to figure the right times for each, but now it's so easy and I have a good supply of basics in the freezer. Thank you for this video!!

Hi, I'm wondering if you have done this with a larger quantity of quinoa?  If I was making a larger portion, 3-4 cups of quinoa, would I cook it for 3-4 minutes instead of only 1 minute?
I followed this exactly and it turned out perfectly!  Just wondering now so that I can make for a larger crowd.  Thank you!
