I left a comment here but it has disappeared, it was a link to a soft wheat bread dinner roll recipe. Maybe your Spam filters are a little aggressive lol

I’m really surprised and saddened by some of these comments. I came to post that you are beautiful, Becky, in all states, and I wish we would see each other without make-up more often. Learning to find ourselves and each other beautiful without artificial perfection seems like a very wise project, and we can always get’dolled up’ when it feels like fun instead of a chore. <3

Becky- I did the same process with the whole wheat bread!!!! Whew-glad we're in this together! After my epic failure of whole wheat loaf, I read that it works best mixed with other flours! Like you said, you win some-& lose some! Hope you guys had a great weekend!

Just a tip on bread experiments. When breads are done, the internal temperature is usually about 210 degrees. I’ve read some people like it closer to 190, but that could give you a ballpark when you are cooking with a new flour so you don’t end up with a doughy loaf. Thank you for another fun video. Such a joy to bring us into your day to day life.

Some experiments you can do with the whole wheat flour. use half white bread flour and half whole wheat when making your no knead bread, most of my old recipes say to do this, though I don't know why. Also after rising, try putting it in a cold dutch oven (lid on) and cold oven and turn the oven on so the bread warms at the same temp as the dutch oven. Then do your usual finish with the lid off. you'll have to play with the time since I'm in the midwest and our climate etc is fairly different. You can add the egg and water wash to all parts of the bread that don't touch the bottom of the dutch oven for a different crust texture (pretty sure you know this part already though lol)
I actually bought my dutch oven just for bread (because of you) and we all love it so much that I make bread at least once a week.
As always, thank you for being you and for showing that humans in real life aren't perfect. Striving for perfection has lead a lot of people down very dark roads. We need more influencers like you, who show the truth, not some perfect fantasy living. This is one of many reasons you're my favorite youtuber.

I was so excited to see Bri's video too! I had seen her and the twins on another platform, but it was great to hear her story. And girl…I might put on makeup 2-3 times a year. We love seeing you no matter what you look like!

I have found that my whole wheat sandwich bread takes at least an hour in the oven to bake, where my white sandwich bread is finished in usually 35 minutes. I also take the temperature of my bread to know it’s done. It should be at 190 degrees. There is nothing worse than salivating at the thought of fresh baked bread with your meal, only to cut into a raw loaf 😮 I feel your pain! But taking the temp works every time 🤌🏻

I love your chickens so much! They're so cute. I have to say that I didn't even notice that you weren't "camera ready". We are all just hanging out for the day, no need to get all fancy for us 🙂 I am glad we got to see the yogurt – I was wondering what happened with it (then I realised that the videos are out of order due to the pantry challenge etc and that is cool. I was just very excited for the yogurt haha. I am glad it was yummy!). Hugs from Australia x

I'm glad you're not always camera ready, it is more intimate that way. Like all of us gathered around your island enjoying the chat. Thank you for that!

By the way, I took the morning this morning to bake a breakfast casserole to freeze ( using our girl's eggs), made your Sausage Pumpkin Pasta to freeze and eat for dinner tonight (it's a winner!), and made a batch of cookies to snack on.
You've changed the way I do things now. It's so much easier to cook a lot when I'm in the mood to cook than it is to do the nightly chore of cooking! Thank you!

One last thing, your recipe called for a cup of milk but I couldn't see when to add that, so I didn't add all of it but added it with the cream cheese and pumpkin to the sausage. You might want to look that over on the website. Maybe my old eyes didn't see it.
