My parents are from outside Lafayette Louisiana some people grow pomegranates , my neighbor growing up here in Houston , Tx had a pomegranates tree I eat plenty of pomegranates , Your mom have a england and island accent , My parents live in Houston for more than 60 years and they still had that Creole accent .

My opinion the mask does not prevent much. I wore my whole PPE at work you name it I had it all on shield and all. And I still got sick!. I worked in a nursing home.
