I started making my coffee in a copper and stainless coffee pot from the 50-60's, a Dripolator. It stands about 14 inches tall to the top of the lid knob. Coffee maker coffee started tasting weak, stale, and bland no matter what I did, so I changed pots, then changed coffee, then started grinding my own. Now, it is delicious. I use the Community roasted beans. Sometimes I add a little Praline-Pecan Community to it. I just leave it all day in the pot and microwave it when needed. I also put a filter in the strainer part to make the water stay on the coffee grounds longer. I will have to try cowboy coffee.

I love carrots 🥕 the long carrots from the store are sweeter than the baby carrots.
Love onions and bell peppers and mushrooms that are sautéed in a little bit of avocado oil or butter .

You certainly are blessed with greens! That coffee looks yummy too. Many years ago I lived in a wilderness area for about 3 and a half years and cowboy or hillbilly coffee is what I made several times a day and you are so right about it being the best setting and being reheated. I love your sweet life! It's always nice to listen to you folks when I relax. Bless you, the Browns.🙏👵😊💐

Wow so nice to have greens in the winter. I wonder if that method would work in Ohio because I would like to try it. I also like that brand of coffee. God Bless you two!

Hello Mrs. Lori! I just wanted to tell you I made your Grannys Sweet Buttery Hot Rolls yesterday and they were absolutely delicious!!! I have tried making homemade yeast rolls for 40 years and they never were any good! I made some honey butter to put on top of them and couldn't stop eating them!! I love watching you & Mr. Brown, I learn so much from cooking to gardening, to stocking my kitchen. I can't wait to watch your videos. You are such a Blessing to me😊

Eight O'Clock is the only coffee we drink on a day to day basis. Sometimes we drink a Peet's, Fogbusters, Dunkin' or Starbucks, but morning coffee is Eight O'Clock. My parents drank it, had it ground at the cash register at the A&P.

Hey Miss Lori and mr. Danny, yarden really looked good. And that cowboy coffee too. I remember my daddy making Cowboy Coffee every morning. He had a smaller coffee pot can like the one you had for the house and when we went camping or hunting we had one that was about twice that size or three times that size humongous coffee pot. LOL y'all take care of one another God bless you and yours

How great those greens look. Dan, thanks for the coffee lesson. I am not a coffee drinker but my husband says I make a good pot of coffee. I do like how it smells. Dan, you're looking thinner. Good luck with your good eating challenge. Thank God for your good wife, Lori!

Thanks for sharing your Cowboy Coffee recipe with us Danny…
Our coffee has not been very good lately – not really sure why.
So I may just try this to see if it's our coffee maker, or what! It will feel like we are out camping 🤪😲
