I cooked in the Army and this recipe is similar to Yankee Pot Roast. The tomato paste takes the taste to the next level. Yum!

As always this Sunday mornin pot roast looks Absolutely delicious. Quite different than how I do mine. I think your way will be a good change for me as I have never really liked mine. So grateful to see how you did yours.
Thank the Lord you escaped the hot oil. I ALWAYS cook barefoot and have had a few minor mishaps.

When you said natural I wasn't expecting you to add flour which with the oils/fat will become a roux. So, if you have not added the flour what would the consistency be like? Can you do a video with it and maybe using rutabaga in place of the potatoes?
