I am so excited to have this video. This is how my mother made giblet gravy with the boiled eggs in it. She didn’t used fresh herbs, but I’m going to try it this way. I love fresh herbs. Thank you!

Hi chef Jeffrey, it's my first comment on your channel. I was with you all the way with your rendition of giblet gravy until one of the last ingredients; the eggs. I do not understand the eggs, I don't see the need to add eggs to this gravy. Don't you have enough protein coming from the giblets? When I make this gravy I am going to leave out eggs, mainly because I don't like eggs and my family won't know any different. Please help me understand why eggs?

It never fails…each time I watch one of your videos, I’m reminded of something my parents cooked for us as children 👧🏾; things I loved, but many I never learned how to prepare (like that Buttermilk Pie you brought out)I’m now the Grandma, but still learning to cook 👩🏾‍🍳 and bake! This is truly “Old School Soul Food”: just good ol’ fresh cooking brought back to life

Aw Man, that is amazing!😳 You REALLY got our attention now Chef! All hands on deck family!👩🏽‍🍳 The deliciousness has only just begun😋
And you being all rattled, cause there's no cornbread dressing in the house, is hilarious!🤣 It's a bona-fide emergency!🤒

I’m going to watch all of Thanksgiving Videos. I’ve never heard of giblet gravy. I will if I can get giblets this late from the meat market. I want the flavor not the giblets or eggs in my gravy. Thank you for going step by step. I’m new to cooking this Old School way…I appreciate it. I’m taking notes. ❤️

This reminds me of the giblet gravy my grandma made for us when she was alive. In her memory I am going to make it this Thanksgiving. I'm so blessed and grateful to have found this channel. It's going to be a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you sir and God bless you.

Not the boiled eggs. I just can’t. My old school people grandmother, mother , aunts etc never just never added those boiled eggs . The optics kinda made me feel a little sick . Pryor to the eggs you we’re right on !
