Here's a pound cake recipe I picked up before we moved back to the mainland . We lived in Hawaii for awhile. Your family might enjoy it. Preheat your oven to 325. You need: Fresh Box of Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Golden, 1/3 c. Wesson Oil, 1/4 c. water, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 block of melted butter cooled, 1 8oz jug of sour cream, 4 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla. Mix together for 2 mins on medium speed. Bake for 40 to 45 mins. Or until toothpick comes out clean. And enjoy! Be sure you have a fresh box of Hines or else the cake will fail.
