Thanx..💕💕
kind of on the bland side.
Really like your video. Got all my answers I was needing about cooking beans. I am curious though, can we use raw bacon and let it cook with the beans for an awesome flavor? Bacon should also add the salty goodness. Am I thinking right? Thank you.
Going to go make this for my husband right now! Thank you for the simple recipe!
wow…your knife skills need some sharpening…lol
I must like my beans more flavored because I put a tablespoon or a tablespoon and a half of chili powder
ok just as a suggestion you should have shown a bad bean that you wanted to remove, you also didn't say if it needs to vent naturally or do we hit the vent to make it vent quickly, also way to much useless stuff for the beginning of the video… I just fast-forwarded through it… I only mention these things as a suggestion.
Oh wow, me and my husband were there about 6 years ago and I lost my recipe for the beans. Your video was an awesome find. Thanks.
Oh lookie.. it's a cup.. ♥
3 cups of water two one pound of beans. They will be far too soupy with 5 and 1/2 cups of water some people who like them a little soupy add 4 cups. Mine are nice and juicy always with three cups of water. You got to have the juice for the cornbread will corn muffins! 🙂
I used to do all of my baked beans in the slow cooker and one of the only beans that did not need to be pre-soaked were pinto beans.
I use sirrachai to spice my beans up, add in some smoked meat, ham shanks/bacon something in that spirit…Also salt and pepper to taste, take put u in a stick of melted butter and pro tip take and puree up 1 to 2 cups of nothing but the beans put that pureed beans back into it and stir it up until it dissolves into the soup and those beans will be incredibly rich and Tasty…Very nice thick soup …Oh and don't forget the butter milk corn bread and whole green stem onions on the side…
Over rice?

So don't close the pressure knob?
We met that guy at the museum a few years ago…yes…the beans were delicious. My husband had a second sample. (Slow day at the museum) thanks for sharing.
How many servings did you get with this?
Thanks looks good 🙂
Did she say cook that under pressure for 1 hour is that right seems like a long time for pressure cooking?
Take 2 cups of beans and puree them into baby food and put that into your beans! It will make them the Most flavorful rich beans u ever ate…Also make sure to drop an entire stick of butter into the beans, and use some smoked ham shanks or Hocks…Voila!
Made it today. Cooking now!
I have a recipe that uses rotel tomatoes – have you done any bean recipes like this? I know whenI cook on the stove I have to wait til near the end to add the tomatoes or the beans aren't soft. not sure about the instant pot
