Sorry sir but I have to disagree with you on the end game. I don't believe that they are making it difficult but rather they are setting up a "Stacking" potential containing a series of If/Then scenarios/laws so that the government shall have a complete accounting of law abiding gun owners weapons.
My question is, inthe spirit of deceeasing crime, how does that affect their end game? Rhetorical, I know. It doesn't at all but rather produces an environment where the disenfranchised gun owner an environment, like when Hitler confiscated wall persons weapons, where you are disadvantaged and the voice of or representation of freedom exists shall be muffled.
The only way to fix this long standing problem of the governor and legislature passing unconstitutional laws is to make them personally liable financially and criminally for their unconstitutional actions. I’m sure that if a private citizen violates someone’s constitutional rights, the state could come after them?

Screw California. I live in Florida and the Governor just signed a Bill into Law effective July 1, Constitutional Carry Baby! Now 26 States, a majority have Constitutional Carry.

Ok, now if I want to go to my local gun shop to buy a firearm and a few months ago I build an AR-15 or any other kinda firearm that does not have a serial number. I have to acknowledge I own one. Is this their way of finding out who has what they deem a ghost gun? Once this becomes law will they next come up with a rule that before I can buy the firearm, I have to prove that my AR is California compliant or the pistol I build is registered? Since builds do not have serial numbers?
