    Hi Lisa. I know from using my steam ang crisp or any Ninja the pasta has to be totally submerged in liquid not to get crispy ones. Also farafalle is more of a delicate noodle than penne, which is a thicker more sturdy noodle. They say if you switch out a noodle you have to add or subtract time depending on the noodle. Thanks for the recipe, I am going to try this one. I also like penne over farafalle. 😁

    It looks really good. I think I would've filled the alfredo jar halfway up with water, shaken it about to mix it with the left over sauce, then poured that into the pot.
    It seems like you got everything right, but I assume the other pasta type is thinner/smaller, so would sit under the water for longer.
