Here is my full review of the Ninja Foodi Grill, new in 2019. I have learned that there IS a dehydrating basket *sold separately* that I have not tested yet. Maybe …
Yesssss the thermapen is the only way to go and make sure your proteins are cooked PERFECTLY every time. Also remember carry over cooking. The meat will rise in temo like 10-20mins after being taken off the heat it can go up 5-10 degrees depending on the size of the protein
Cooking below 450 on this thing is just wasting your time. Trust me
I might never get over the trauma of seeing that bloody steaks…
You had an opportunity to change the char to 4 different levels and blamed the machine for the chicken when breast are supposed to be done at 170°.
When you marinate or brine poultry you have to shorten the cooking time. Like two thirds to three quarters quicker.
I think it’s time for a new knife bro. You’re hacking all your meat.
Thank you for sharing your honest review, I like your humble and honest review. Keep up the good work sir 😃
My first video watching of you testing products. Unfortunately, I do not like to cook, that is why I bough the Ninja Foodi. I wanted to have an indoor grill and air fry to be healthier. Appreciate your editing, getting to the point, fast forwarding, etc. I'll check in periodically. I subscribed. Thank you so much!
Sounds like the weakness of the cooker is it's food cooking time chart.
Eeek, the steak looks raw
Personally, I prefer medium-well. More brown than pink. So I already know to put in a few more minutes. As long as the unit works I'll buy but now there are different models by the same company which adds a new issue. Which one to get.
Smoking after several steaks and breasts is already a yellow flag to me. Probably good for a meal for one or two but definitely not for party grills
I like your video. thanks
take you steak to the er . its losing blood
Forget the chewing sound and get more lights
You didn't mention if it was easy or a pain to clean this thing.
would love to win this Ninja if it is still around.
You're the MVP for masking chewing sound, nice review.
Okay so I just seen this video two months later is this still something you use and if so how often I recently got sick I can't cook like I used to but I love to cook for my kids it's only four of us I feel like this would be a big help so what is your recommendation on this still great review by the way 👌
If I had one I would try some blackened fish and grilled veggies! But this looks pretty good!
I bought this and it smoked REALLY bad the first time I grilled a steak. Returned.
The person who wrote the book likes their stuff welldone.
"They state no flipping is necessary, so I did not flip the burgers"…..*proceeds to flip the burger in the video*
You like your steak rare and your burger cooked. I dont understand.
I would switch from canola and buy some duck fat spray.
Nope. Burger was overcooked outside undercooked inside.
Why would you put any oil on the food?
Wow takes a long time to pre-heat this….My Son likes his STEAKS Moo-ing not me….me NO MOOing-well done…jucy-not dry and not burnt….have to seal in the steak then keep turning it…until done or getting it this way
Isn't the point of an air fryer not to use oil?
I opted for the Hamilton Beach Sear Indoor grill. I already have the Ninja Foodie which duplicates much of the grill features. For less than $70 the HB performs well.
Is it just me or is James the only human on Earth that could pull off those sunglasses?? If I wore those I'm pretty sure somebody would hit me in the face with a brick.
I love that guy so much for cutting out the chewing noises.
My mother being the saint she is, wasn't supposed to buy christmas presents as he children are almost all in their 30's. Anyways between myself getting married and my brother having his first kid she spoiled the shit out of us and got us each one of these. I have not been able to use it as I am in the process of getting a new place.
I was glad to see this review and see how well it held up. I let her know about this because I don't know how else to really show my appreciation than to say "hey that thing you bought me works amazingly well and thank you, I'm so excited to get to use it soon".
Looks terrible 🤢
All of these devices usually put the cooking time to well done to avoid lawsuits. I own the Ninja Foodi Air Fryer and have come to the realization that potatoes are usually done 10minutes less, meats about 5-8minutes less than directions. For instance I prefer me beef Medium-Well……. you didn't seem to.
Swear this guy reviewing was cast in Police Academy movies @ "Blue Oyster bar" scenes
I've noticed from frozen its better to lower the temp and put in their listed time…
The Chicken breast I made was dry also think I have to lower the temperature slow cook hmm
I totally love my Ninja Foodie Grill, living in Buffalo, NY winters I can still grill, I’m very happy !
Canola oil 🤮 that shit is so bad for your health
I was going to get this product for healthy eating but I see you keep having to to put canola oil and everything so I don't think I'm going to be buying this product
