Wow Jeffrey, I used Your instructions here to grill Brats, except I pressure cooked them first for 5 minutes to tenderize the casings, then I grilled them placing them on the rack like You did the hot dogs to create grill marks, and cut slits like Your video showed and grilled them in the crisper for 6 minutes. These were the Best Brats ever! They tasted just like they'd been cooked on the grill outside, as the aroma of perfectly grilled Brats filled the house. Awesome Brats!

I love hot dogs but usually nuke them. Now I can make them in my Ninja Foodi. Love all your recipes, Jeffrey, whether IP or Ninja Foodi. Keep 'em coming! Edited to add: Made these last night and they were sooooo good. Won't ever go back to nuking them.

Looks like a great grilled hot dog!
For those folks who might be a bit more clumsy, like me, you might want to make your knife slits while the dogs are sitting outside the ninja on your counter/cutting board. Then just place them sliced-side up inside on the grill rack. That way you don't worry about accidentally brushing against the pre-heated interior while slicing inside there.

This appliance looks interesting, but I already have the instant pot and an air fryer. I really don't have room for another gadget in my apt kitchen. My husband would shoot me, lol…. I love hotdogs…… I either steam them so they taste like the ones on the hotdog trucks or I brown them in a little butter. What brand do you use? It's hard to find a good tasting hotdog these days. I'm looking for the type we used to have in school years n years ago, lol! We found a great one by Dueschmacher (spelling might be off) but they were discontinued in NY. I think you can still get them in New England tho 🎃

I want to punch you right in the f'n face. Put the dog in a pan with water, boil for 3 minutes, dump water add tab of butter and roast for 3 minutes more. 6 minutes and done a hole.
