Bhavna – Unfortunately protein is one of the things they have been lying to us about. Think about it. A newborn baby triples in size its first year consuming nothing but mother's milk and by doing that is getting less than 10 percent of total calories they consume in protein. Why then do full grown adults worry so much about protein and think they need MORE than that when they have stopped growing?

It turns out we do NOT need any more protein. In fact getting too much protein increases your risk of cancer and kidney disease. We need kidneys to filter out acid wastes that our hundred trillion cells which both consume (from the blood) and eliminate into the lymphatic/immune system and then hopefully through the kidneys and exit our bodies in our urine. The last thing any of us needs is kidney disease we brought on ourselves due to eating too much protein.

I bet you ANYTHING your guest will say she was taught that we should be consuming up to 35% of our calories in protein which is WAY TOO MUCH. Again, if anyone needs protein it would be mammals that are still growing. Right?

Like medical doctors, nutritionists have been taught a lot of propaganda. Hopefully your guest has unlearned a lot of what she had to memorize to get her degree. When you think about the fact that BIG FOOD, BIG PHARMA and BIG MEDICA fund the universities, the type of indoctrination they go thru is understandable. But we all need to think for ourselves and do our own research.
